TuneIn, in collaboration with the SEVENS Radio Network, has announced the relaunch of The Garth Channel, slated for later this fall. The channel, formerly available only to SiriusXM subscribers, will become globally accessible for free for the first time.

The Garth Channel will feature a range of music curated by Brooks, including his own hits, tracks from his musical heroes, and songs from emerging artists that he admires. Brooks also revealed that broadcasts would come from the new Friends in Low Places Bar in Nashville, adding another layer of personal touch to the channel.

This relaunch marks the third station that TuneIn and the SEVENS Radio Network have developed in partnership with Brooks. The first, The BIG 615, focuses on an authentic take on country radio and features host Storme Warren. The second, Tailgate Radio, is a hybrid channel that mixes music with live play-by-play.

Brooks said, “The Garth Channel has always been my music, my heroes, my favorites. So, how do you make it better? You make it global for starters so the whole world can see how much I LOVE music and where it comes from. The new Garth Channel will now send out invitations for other artists to tell their stories behind the music and their careers.”

TuneIn CEO Rich Stern noted, “Simply put, people want as much Garth as they can have. However, the one common thing we have heard through social, emails, and just people out on the street is ‘When is The Garth Channel coming back?’ We are so excited to finally let them all know that not only is The Garth Channel coming back, but it’s going to be even bigger than before.”
