Benztown is partnering with P1 Media Group to host a webinar focusing on artificial intelligence in radio broadcasting on Thursday, October 12 at 1p ET. The webinar is centered around Alpha Media Portland’s Live 95.5 and the station’s development and use of the world’s first AI radio presenter, “AI Ashley.”
Utilizing Futuri Media’s RadioGPT software, the station developed a synthetic, AI-powered version of their existing midday host, Ashley Elzinga, which has been on-air since June.
The webinar will be anchored by Benztown CEO Andreas Sannemann and P1 Media Group Partner Ken Benson. They will be joined by Alpha Media Portland’s Live 95.5 (KBFF) Content Director Dylan Salisbury. During the 40-minute session, Salisbury will delve into the inception and development of AI Ashley, listener reception, industry criticism, and the evolution of AI Ashley since her debut.
