Small Market News Director/Morning News Host for KFMO-AM1240: (Full time, with benefits and vacation)
• Host “The Start” morning news from 6-9a, with in studio local guests and local topics.
• Manage newsroom and daily news assignments for additional staff
• Write, voice and produce local news, schedule guests, post to website and social media
• Attend local government and business meetings, events and report on local elections
• Newswriting and on air experience required, sports announcing a plus but not mandatory
• Salary commensurate with experience, excellent growth potential into program director, additional pay available for remotes and sporting event announcing.
