Comedian Trevor Noah, fresh off his time as host of The Daily Show, is launching a new Spotify Original Podcast. The weekly series, set to launch later this year, will feature in-depth conversations between Trevor and influential figures from around the world.
Noah made the announcement during a conversation with Spotify’s CEO Daniel Ek at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, where they discussed the importance of connecting with audiences through different mediums and leveraging new technologies in the evolving media landscape.
“It’s really exciting to be joining Spotify on a fun new adventure where we’ll engage in interesting and meaningful conversations with some of the world’s most fascinating people,” said Noah. “We’ll also probably fix every single issue humankind has ever faced so you definitely want to join us for every episode.”
