Scotty Crowe has been appointed as the Senior Director of Podcasting at Atlanta NPR member WABE, where he will oversee the development and strategy for all podcast content.
He was previously the Creative Lead for The Speed Project, responsible for directing narrative, editorial, and experience design. Crowe is also a Moth Atlanta StorySLAM winner, a Georgia Tech alumnus, and the current board chair for ATL Collective.
“We are doubling down on Atlanta and going from a public media station that only broadcasts to being a streamer and a studio also reaching regional and national audiences,” said Jennifer Dorian, WABE’s President and CEO.
