The MIW Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Minnesota, a newly launched partnership between the MIW group and the Minnesota Broadcasters Association has announced Ava Lynn LaRue (pictured) as its first mentee.
LaRue is the Station Manager for Q-Media Group, in Red Wing, Minnesota. She’s been in Red Wing for the last five years, starting as a morning show co-host followed by a promotion to Program Director, then to Operations Manager, and now the Station Manager for a cluster of four radio stations with 10 employees.
MIW Board President Ruth Presslaff said, “Lightning struck twice! Partnering with Wendy has been positive, productive, and way fun. And then to meet the powerhouse Ava LaRue and have the opportunity to work with her is what the MIWs are all about. Thanks MBA, Wendy, and Ava!”
