  1. Every LPFM situation is different. We operate as if we have 100,000 watts. We serve our local community,Carry local sports, even read the obits every weekday morning. We have a great working relationship with local govt plus, work with our local churches. we provide information for all walks of life.

  2. It’s really simple: The more power they get, the less likely they will be able to operate in any urban area. But sure, if they’re looking to set up an LPFM in rural Idaho or Wyoming, no problem. Lots of spectrum available out there. She has a better chance of trying for legalization of 87.7.

    • No accurate. Several of us in Los Angeles and vicinity will be able to increase our power. And it would not be mandatory. If some LPFM finds a frequency that can hold 100 watts, but no more, then 100 watts it is.
