The jocks’ nonprofit charity, Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids, aims to enhance the lives of terminally ill and chronically disabled children. In tandem Charlotte-area Jersey Mike’s stores, they broke their fundraising record during the national sub franchise’s Month of Giving initiative in March, raising $149,200 – more than $28,000 higher than last year’s total. Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids has been selected as the beneficiary for Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving for five consecutive years. The sub franchise’s Charlotte-area stores have previously donated more than $310,000 to Ace & TJ’s Grin Kids. In Charlotte, The Ace and TJ Show is heard on 96.1 WHQC.
“The fact that we’ve beaten the previous year every year with Jersey Mike’s, shows their level of commitment to supporting kids who are terminally ill and chronically disabled,” said Ace. “It shows what a class organization Jersey Mike’s is and we’re humbled by their commitment to our charity.”
