Chris Plante's program will originate from his flagship station, WMAL AM/FM in Washington, D.C. and air from 9 a.m.–12 noon ET. Plante began his radio career at WMAL in 2005 after 17 years at CNN. Plante's stepfather is CBS News correspondent Bill Plante.

Klein Staying Put With CBS In San Francisco

KITS-FM San Francisco morning host Kevin Klein has signed a new multi-year deal with the station that will keep him hosting the morning show alongside Ally Johnson. Klein began co-hosting mornings back in September 2014. KITS-FM -- Live 105 -- is an Alternative Rock station.

Baisden Returning To Radio

Superadio announced at NABOB's Power of Urban Radio Conference last week that they will partner with Baisden Media Group in collaboration with American Urban Radio Network, Perry Broadcasting, and others to distribute the show nationally. Baisden's show will air in afternoon drive. The start date of the show was not announced.

iHeart Names Kruz PD In Tampa At FLZ

Rob Kruz has been named PD of the "Hit Music Station" in Tampa. Kruz heads south from Baltimore where he was PD and afternoon driver for WZFT. He's worked on the air for WIHT-FM in Washington, D.C. and WQAL-FM in Cleveland, OH. He began his radio career in Detroit, MI at WDRQ while he attended the University of Michigan.
