The Florida, Palm Beaches station will broadcast weekdays from 6 a.m.-10 a.m., effective immediately. Hubbard Radio in Seattle has named Kim Monroe APD and host of the 2-6 p.m. shift at Rock 98.9 KVRQ. Monroe has worked at Rock stations WEND in Charlotte and KNDD in Seattle. She was PD at Alternative WXTM in Cleveland which later became WXRK.
Ryan Lends His Voice To Titans Coverage
Veteran sports broadcaster Mickey Ryan will join the Titans Radio broadcast team beginning Saturday, August 19, at 5 p.m. CST. Ryan will co-host pre- and post-game coverage for Tennessee’s NFL club on 104.5 The Zone and Titans Radio. He will join fellow broadcaster Mark Howard and former Titans players Blaine Bishop and Kevin Dyson on the show.
Perryman Gets Texas Country Music HOF Exhibit
Longtime KKUS personality and Country Music Hall of Fame inductee Tom Perryman is to be honored with a new exhibit at the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in Carthage, Texas, opening August 12. It will feature memorabilia from Perryman’s almost seven decades in radio.
