Adams Radio Group has hired radio veteran John Ludwig as a Senior Account Manager representing the Adams cluster of stations in Salisbury-Ocean City. Ludwig comes to Adams from Entercom Portland where he has spent the past 13 years as a sales consultant.

Taylor will begin hosting middays, weekdays from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. beginning Monday, September 18. She started her radio career at WERQ-FM in Baltimore after winning a station contest seeking to expand their talent roster.

CBS Radio President and CEO Andre Fernandez has been selected by FCC Chairman Ajit Pai to serve on the Commission’s Advisory Committee on Diversity and Digital Empowerment. The ACDDE’s mission is to provide recommendations to the FCC on how to empower disadvantaged communities and accelerate the entry of small businesses into the media, digital news and information, and audio and video programming industries. 

The award-winning talk radio personality takes up the midday slot at News Talk 590 WVLK-AM/Lexington, moving from 6-8 p.m. drive. Glover’s new show debuts September 13 and will air weekdays from 12 Noon-3 p.m. Glover’s peers honored him as the 2008 Kentucky Sportscaster of the Year.

The Pensacola Classic Hits-Rock station has named Britt Rose the new Afternoon Drive personality. She switches Cumulus stations, coming from Oklahoma City’s KQOB and KATT to Florida. She debuts on Jet 100.7 on Wednesday, September 13, from 2 p.m.-7 p.m.

CNN Money is reporting that conservative radio talker Laura Ingraham will get a one-hour show at that time and Sean Hannity will move back to 9 p.m. The website reports that a few details need to be worked out but Ingraham has been telling friends that the deal is essentially done. The launch date for Ingraham's new show is unknown.

Cumulus Media-Wilmington's AC station WGNI-FM has added the John Tesh radio show, Intelligence for Your Life. PD Steve McKay said, “Adding Intelligence for Your Life with John Tesh is an exciting opportunity to engage women with a show unlike any other. It’s great to be able to bring John back to North Carolina, where he spent the early part of his life.”

The Radio Television Digital News Association/Foundation has announced that Dan Shelley has assumed his duties as Executive Director of the Association. The longtime RTDNA member and former Chairman of the Board has served as Incoming Executive Director of the Association and Foundation since April

It was a corporate decision to let the afternoon co-host go, according to Cincinnati.com. The former Major League Baseball player (pictured left) was with the station for ten years. He co-hosted afternoons with Eddie Fingers (right). Last Thursday's show was the last one Jones co-hosted with Fingers.
