Marv Nyren has been named Cumulus’ new Market Manager in Chicago, replacing Peter Bowen who left in September. Nyren joins Cumulus from Chicago Public Media, where he was VP for Corporate Sponsorships for WBEZ-FM. Before that he was President/Regional VP for iHeartMedia’s 13 stations in Jacksonville and Brunswick. He was also Regional VP/Market Manager for Emmis for 13 years, managing in Chicago, Phoenix, and Indianapolis.
Cumulus has four stations in Chicago: 101 WKQX/WKQX-FM, WLS 890 AM/WLS-AM, 94.7 WLS/WLS-FM, and The Loop 97.9/WLUP-FM.
