Pitching Duo On The Mound For WGN Chicago
WGN Radio announced former Chicago Cubs pitchers Kerry Wood and Ryan Dempster will be providing weekly baseball analysis throughout the 2016 baseball season on the Roe Conn Show with Anna Davlantes and the Steve Cochran Show, respectively. Kerry Wood can be heard every Thursday at 4:40 p.m. on the Roe Conn Show beginning today, Thursday, March 31, and will discuss both Cubs and White Sox baseball. Ryan Dempster will appear on the Steve Cochran Show on Thursday mornings beginning April 7.
New Salem Lineup Kicks Off Monday
It's the first lineup change for the Salem Radio Network in over 10 years. Based out of Washington, D.C., Hugh Hewitt is taking over the morning show from Bill Bennet, 6-9 a.m. ET. Bennett becomes a Senior Correspondent and will also have a morning feature called The Bill Bennett Interview...Making America Work. Larry Elder takes over the former Hewitt slot at 6-9 p.m. ET.
Live 95.5 Announces Sessions For Nights
Alpha Media Portland, OR, announced that Lauren Sessions will be doing nights on Live 95.5 (KBFF) starting April 25, 2016. Sessions started her radio career on the RatBoy & StayPuff show at WFLZ in Tampa Bay. She later graduated to individual on-air shifts for the station from 2012-2015.
Schock Replaces Richards In San Francisco

New Show Takes ESPN Radio Fully Live Weekdays
ESPN Radio will debut First and Last with Lundberg & Golic Jr., hosted by Robin Lundberg and Mike Golic Jr., on Monday, April 4, at 4 a.m. ET. The two-hour program will recap the previous night’s highlights and delve into the coming day’s stories. It will be preceded by a two-hour edition of SportsCenter AllNight (2–4 a.m.), making ESPN Radio live 24 hours a day on weekdays.
92Q Nashville Launches “Off The Clock With C Dub”
Nashville radio station 92Q (WQQK) announced the launch of Off The Clock With C Dub at 6 p.m. CT on March 31, 2016. The new show will air weeknights from 6–9 p.m. CST on 92.1 WQQK. C Dub will play a mix of R&B, including Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, R. Kelly, Charlie Wilson, and more.
Kling Becomes A VP
NuVoodoo Media Services has appointed media and content strategist PJ Kling to the newly created position of VP for Product & Business Development. Part of Kling's responsibilities will be to expand NuVoodoo’s relationships with radio stations, artists, and record labels.
Former WRKO/WEEI VP Joins Howie Carr
Jason Wolfe gets the newly created position of Network Manager for the Howie Carr Radio Network. He'll be charge of building and expanding the reach and brand of the Howie Carr Show, which is now heard on 27 stations across New England.
Pearson Joins Jake & Tanner Show
Scripps owns 94.5 KTI COUNTRY in Milwaukee and the station announced Wednesday that Britt Pearson is joining the Jake & Tanner morning show as producer. Pearson will handle some on-air hosting duties. VP/GM Tom Langmyer said, "We're committed to breaking out of the industry rut of big companies that piped-in recorded voice-tracked hosts from out of the market and formats shaken out of a box."
iHeart Promotes Mayhem
Zac Wellsandt, also known as Mayhem, has been promoted to Director of CHR/AC Operations for the Central Texas Region. He'll oversee KXXM, KZEP, KQXT, and KQXT-HD in San Antonio, and KHFI, KPEZ, KVET-HD, and KASE-HD2 in Austin.
