The CBS Corporation has named analytics expert Radha Subramanyam Executive VP and Chief Research and Analytics Officer for the CBS Television Network. For almost six years Subramanyam has been President of Research, Insights and Data Analytics for iHeartMedia. Subramanyam's replacement at iHeart could be named as early as Thursday.

Marv Nyren has been named Cumulus' new Market Manager in Chicago, replacing Peter Bowen who left in September. Nyren joins Cumulus from Chicago Public Media, where he was VP for Corporate Sponsorships for WBEZ-FM. Before that he was President/Regional VP for iHeartMedia’s 13 stations in Jacksonville and Brunswick.

iHeartMedia has named Tommy Chuck Senior VP of Programming for its 14 Tampa-Sarasota stations. Chuck will also program Country outlet US 103.5 in Tampa. He said, “My family and I are grateful to once again call Tampa Bay home. I'm honored to be chosen to lead such legendary brands."

Mike Duffy is the new Program Director for Active Rocker WBSX-FM in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Duffy joined the station seven months ago as midday host. He'll hold onto that shift in addition to taking on the PD role.

Broadcast Music, Inc, has announced several executive promotions within its creative team. Barbara Cane, BMI’s Vice President of Creative, Los Angeles, has been elevated to the newly created role of Vice President, Worldwide Creative and Advisor to the EVP of Creative & Licensing.

Entercom corporate has confirmed that former Beasley Philadelphia PD Matt Nahigian is the new Program Director at 95.7 The Game in San Francisco, replacing Don Kollins. Nahigian left Beasley's 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia a few months ago. Nahigian confirmed the move on Facebook, where this picture of the PD and his family was also posted...

On Monday, WCCO-AM (Minnesota) radio legend Roger Erickson died at the age of 89. Erickson began working in radio in 1959. One of the many things he was known for was his 5 a.m. program giving morning warnings, telling everyone that their school was closed. He was also part of the Boone and Erickson show for 37 years. Erickson retired in 1998 and was inducted into the broadcasting hall of fame in 2001.

After a six-month absence from terrestrial radio, Mudflap and Palmer returned to the air, Tuesday, on New Country WWKT 99.3 The Cat, hosting mornings in Florence/Sumter, SC.

Black Diamond Broadcasting has named their selection for the newly created Director of Business Development position. Shannone Dunlap, whose first day is November 1, spent the last decade as the General Manager of Alpha Media in Saginaw, Michigan.
