Podtrac released its monthly ranking of the top podcasts and podcast publishers for April 2023. The month saw the average US Unique Monthly Audience (UMA) for the top 20 publishers sink 4% month-over-month but remain up 5% from April 2022.

Boston-based conservative talk radio host Howie Carr is in the hospital after collapsing on air during an interview on Monday. Carr started his syndicated show out of iHeart's WRKO by saying he was not feeling well due to a medical procedure and later became incoherent and slumped over mid-sentence.
