The name of the new podcast from WTOP is Target USA and it focuses on the threats facing America. The podcast is reported and produced by WTOP National Security Correspondent JJ Green.

Seems fitting. Tommy Chong, best known as one-half of the pot-smoking comedy duo “Cheech and Chong,” is now hosting a podcast called The Tommy Chong Podcast on CannabisRadio.com. New episodes of podcast air every Wednesday at 9 p.m. Eastern Time.

Greg Mozingo is the new program director for KVOO and KXBL, two Tulsa, Oklahoma, radio stations operated by The E.W. Scripps. He begins his new role on March 14. Mozingo comes to Tulsa from St. Louis where he was program director for the past 13 years at WIL-FM.

Minnesota Public Media news has named Nancy Cassutt as executive director, MPR News and Programming. She replaces interim news lead Mike Reszler, who stepped in last summer when Chris Worthington, the former managing director of news.

Those are the words of Ad Agency Executives Blair Overesch (pictured) and Jeff Chase. Overesch is the Media Director and Chase is the Creative Director at Walz Tetrick Advertising in Kansas City . Their clients include the World Champion Kansas City Royals and Dairy Queen. Norm Winer was PD for CBS Radio's WXRT-FM since 1979. He was recently given the title of Director of WXRT Music Initiatives & Special Programming. On Wednesday he announced, after 36 years at the same station, he's leaving.

The Board of Directors of Saga Communications has promoted Warren Lada to COO. Lada was Executive Vice President with the company. Saga CEO Ed Christian said, “Warren has been with Saga for over two decades in various capacities, starting as a market manager and now currently as Executive Vice President. We have worked side by side in growing Saga into a well-respected company in the broadcast industry. His promotion to COO is long overdue.”
