The “Charlie And Debbie Show” Celebrating 10 Years
Friday marks the 10th anniversary of The Charlie and Debbie Show driving people home weekday afternoons 3p.m.-7p.m. on The New 1037 (WSOC). Charlie and Debbie Nance have been married for 22 years and hosting radio shows for 21 years at various stations.
Telos: Voltair Still Significantly Improves Ratings
The debate over whether Telos' Voltair unit improves your ratings or not just got a little more interesting. In a Thursday press release, The Telos Alliance — parent company of 25-Seven, the makers of the Voltair — said new findings show Voltair "still provides broadcasters with a significant ratings advantage, even on enhanced CBET."
Telos CEO Not Backing Down
It's been awhile since we've heard from the team at Telos. Once Nielsen released its enhanced CBET technology and started rolling it out to PPM markets late last year, the debate about Voltair pretty much fizzled out. A flurry of new activity on the topic this week promises to reignite the debate. We reached out to Telos CEO Frank Foti to ask him about his press release, which claims that Voltair still significantly improves ratings in PPM markets. Here's what he had to say.
