Orlando Airport Goes HD
The Orlando Sentinel reports that, as of Wednesday, the Orlando International Airport is adding digital radio station "FlyMCO 105.1HD2" to broadcast information and updates. The signal, which is owned by CBS, will reach 11 counties and the audio will be streamed live on the radio.com app as well as OIA's mobile app and website. The airport announced the station will broadcast airport information, travel updates, community news, and entertainment.

WAY-FM’s The Wally Show held a campaign where listeners pledged support to Blood: Water Mission for 27 new water wells to be built near schools in Africa. The funding will also provide sanitation (bathrooms) to help ensure the children stay healthier throughout the year.

Pandora Investor Pushing The Company To Sell
Hedge fund Corvex Management, which is run by Keith Meister, a protégé of billionaire activist investor Carl Icahn, disclosed it owns 9.9 percent of Pandora's stock (22.7 million shares) and is pushing the online streamer to explore a sale instead of pursuing a "costly and uncertain business plan."

Amy Lewis Schachter (pictured) is PodcastOne's new VP for East Coast Sales. Schachter joins PodcastOne after 20 years with CBS Radio and Digital properties. The company also promoted Dana Senit to Vice President for West Coast Sales. Senit joined PodcastOne in 2015.
