Trila Bumstead owns 11 stations in Astoria, Oregon, Wasilla, Alaska, and Anchorage, Alaska. She worked at the stations since 1999 when she was with New Northwest Broadcasters. And in 2011, she purchased 9 of the 11 stations when NNB went through their sales process. Nationally syndicated radio talk show host and best-selling author, Dave Ramsey, hosted his Smart Conference in Los Angeles on Saturday, at The Shrine Auditorium. Ramsey combined forces with iHeart's "The Patriot KEIB 1150 AM" to promote the event.
Mayor Declares September 19-25 Radio Week
This year's Radio show, co-produced by the NAB and RAB, will be held in Nashville this September so the Radio Week proclamation comes from Nashville Mayor Megan Barry. iHeartMedia Ups “Rock Star” Bree Wagner
iHeartMedia has announced that Bree Wagner has been named the Assistant Program Director and Music Director for KASE 101 and 98.1 KVET, and will assume midday duties at 98.1 KVET in Austin, effective immediately. Wagner takes on these new duties in addition to her current role of Assistant Program Director and Music Director for San Antonio’s KAJA and KRPT, and midday host at KAJA.
Awards Deluge For WTMJ And KTI Milwaukee
Milwaukee stations 620 WTMJ and 94.5 KTI COUNTRY combined to win 11 awards from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association on Saturday night. The awards included the coveted News & Talk Station of the Year for WTMJ, and Best Morning Show for Jake & Tanner on 94.5 KTI COUNTRY.
