SiriusXM Launching Red-Hot Channel

The new channel will be called Red Hot Chili Peppers Radio and will launch on Wednesday, June 15 in celebration of the band's new studio album, The Getaway, to be released June 17. Chris Rock, Red Hot Chili Peppers super fan, will host the limited-run channel. Red Hot Chili Peppers Radio will feature music spanning the band's entire career.

Triton: Mobile Listening Skyrockets

In its April digital ranker, Triton is reporting that mobile listening made up 76.2% of total listening during the M-F 6A-8P daypart, which was an all-time high. When compared to March, the Urban AC format showed the largest listening gain with a 9.4 percent increase in Average Active Sessions.

101.9 AMP Radio in Orlando and The Big Red Bus are teaming up to help the Orlando community. The Big Red Bus will be taking donations, of all types of blood, in the radio station parking lot from 8am to 2pm on Monday. The station adds that if local resident want to help but are unable to give blood, they will gladly accept donations of water, sports drinks and orange juice as well.
