You may recall HD Radio parent DTS becoming a subsidiary of Tessera Holding Corporation earlier this month. On Thursday, DTS announced it had purchased All In Media, a supplier of smartphone apps and broadcast systems for radio.
All In Media is a 10 year old company with offices in London and Sydney. It’s created apps for 500 radio stations, all outside the United States.
Tessera Holding President Jon Kirchner said, “We are excited to expand our portfolio of radio technology solutions with the addition of All In Media. Radio reaches more consumers than any other broadcast medium, and this is a great opportunity for DTS to continue driving the progression of radio technology for broadcasters, and enhance the radio consumption experience for listeners around the world in a meaningful, impactful way.”
