Cumulus Nashville: Toys R Them

0

The company’s Nashville cluster called on the community to bring toys and gifts to create their 9th annual Toy Field at the city’s Nissan Stadium. Stations NASH FM 103.3, 104-5 The Zone, 92Q, Super Talk 99.7 WTN, and 95.5 NASH ICON were overwhelmed by the response and will be passing on the toys and gifts to the Salvation Army for its Forgotten Angel Program. The end result: 9,000 “angels” – less fortunate children and the elderly – will receive a gift this holiday season.

According to Major Ed Lee, Area Commander, The Salvation Army Nashville Area Command, several hundreds of those “angels” will not be adopted. To ensure each child has a special Christmas, the Forgotten Angel shop will provide gifts. Lee said: “Throughout the years, the Cumulus Nashville listeners have been generous with their donations. Today was a great day that will help us provide for those in need in our community.”
