(This story has been updated with a statement from the company.) WTIC-FM host Gary Craig uploaded a video to YouTube last weekend that caught the eye of the City's Mayor who called it racist. According to The Hartford Courant, Craig was walking around the Latino Fest on the riverfront when he recorded himself saying some things that offended city officials.

50,000-watt KTRB, which now carries ESPN Deportes, covers the San Francisco metro and includes the embedded metros of San Jose, Sacramento, and Modesto, will become News Talk 860 AM The Answer over the 4th of July weekend. Salem will operate the station through an LMA with Susan Uecker.

Pacific Lutheran University and non-profit group The Friends of 88.5 FM announced on Tuesday they have reached an agreement that will allow the group to take ownership of the station.

That's what JVC Media is heading toward at its Country outlet WTRS in Gainesville-Ocala. The company says the station will evolve its Country format into a custom music mix of Country and Southern Rock as US 102-3 – The Crossroads of Country and Rock. Houston contemporary Christian music station 89.3 KSBJ recently held its most successful Sharathon, an annual four-day on-air fundraising event. On Friday alone, over 50% of funds needed to reach the Sharathon goal were raised, along with the largest one-time gift in KSBJ history, $150,000 from an anonymous donor.
