When comedian J. Anthony Brown left The Tom Joyner Morning Show at the end of last month, Joyner announced there would be rotating co-hosts to fill Brown's chair until a permanent replacement was hired. Joyner says starting in 2017 Arsenio Hall, Bill Bellamy, Kym Whitley, and returning co-host Sherri Shepherd and Lavell Crawford will be featured co-hosts.

The Premiere-syndicated show continues to grow, adding iHeart's My 99.5 in Salt Lake City. iHeartMedia Salt Lake City Senior VP of Programming Jeff Cochran, said, “We’ve been watching the undeniable growth of this show for almost a year. GEICO held on to the number one spot with 40,006 spots. Burger King took third with 31,909 while Macy's came in fourth running 30,276 and Verizon fifth airing 29,075 spots. The Home Depot fell from third place two weeks ago to seventh last week.

The Southern California Broadcasters Association is turning 79 on Wednesday. The organization represents 165 member radio stations in Southern California and says it is the longest-running association of its kind.
