On Thursday, BMI President and CEO Mike O'Neill told members the company is taking legal action regarding consent decrees that he says are outdated and puts songwriters and composers at a disadvantage in the digital age.

Following the DOJ announcement Thursday, NAB CEO Gordon Smith said, "Local radio and television broadcasters strongly support the Justice Department’s decision not to modify the ASCAP and BMI consent decrees."

Actor Tom Arnold has launched a new podcast on PodcastOne called "Tom Arnold. 100% Honest. Pretty Much." It will cover everything from his career, to life as a husband and father of two. New episodes will be available every Wednesday.

Overall for the company, revenue increased to $64.8 million from $59.9 million in Q2. $2.8 million of that increase came from the television segment and an increase in retransmission consent revenue. $2.2 million of the increase was from the digital segment. The radio division was flat at $19.5 million.
