The NHL's Florida Panthers have reached a multi-year contract extension with WQAM-AM in Miami to continue to broadcast all Panthers regular season and playoff games. Play-by-play announcer Doug Plagens and analyst Bill Lindsay will return to call all the action.

The 21 stations Greater Media owns are in Boston, Charlotte, Detroit, New Jersey, and Philadelphia. No doubt part of the reason this deal made sense to the Beasley family was the fact that Greater Media owned stations in two markets Beasley also had clusters in (Philadelphia and Charlotte). This would give them the opportunity to grow those clusters. Let's take a closer look at the markets...
