BIA/Kelsey Says It Will Release Quarterly Radio Revenue Reports

As a result of the RAB's recent announcement that it would no longer release revenue numbers for radio, Radio Ink has learned that, starting with the third quarter, BIA/Kelsey will start releasing a "quarterly assessment" of the industry.

In the weeks that followed the Boston Marathon bombing that killed three people and injured 264, Glenn Beck said on his show that Saudi Arabian student Abdulrahman Alharbi was the money man for the plot. Police interviewed Alharbi, who was injured in the bombing, and cleared him. Alharbi is sueing beck for defamation.

Kellogg becomes the new Operations Manager for Cumulus' five-station cluster in Fort Walton Beach (WKSM-FM (Rock), WNCV-FM (AC), WYZB-FM (Country), WZNS-FM (Top 40), and WFTW-AM (News/Talk). He'll also program WNCV and WFTW and co-host mornings on WNCV with Lisa Captain.

One of the new features from the RAB, following the discontinuation of its revenue reports, is a new blog called "Radio Impact Reports." The blog, written by RAB President and CEO Erica Farber and others on the RAB team, will focus on current news, information, and insights about radio, and encourage an open dialogue with broadcasters, advertisers, agencies, and listeners.
