$15K Fine For Florida Pirate
The FCC is proposing a penalty of $15,000 for Wilner Lundi for repeatedly operating pirate radio stations at 91.5 and 104.7 MHz in Lake Worth, Florida. In this NAL, The Commission wrote, "Mr. Lundi’s deliberate disregard of the Commission’s warning warrants a significant penalty." Lundi was cited in 2013 for a station in Delray Beach and last year for a station in Lake Worth.
Auto Sales Continue To Slow
Keeping an eye on radio's largest advertising category, sales figures are in for the month of August, which show the pace of auto sales decelerated sharply. Retail sales have fallen in four of the past six months, after rising for 66 straight months.
