Boers Retiring From The SCORE
CBS Chicago Sports Talker Terry Boers is on Radio Ink's upcoming Best Sports Talkers in America list. He has been for years with co-host Dan Bernstein. In a column on the CBS Chicago website, Boers announced he'd be retiring after 25 years with the radio station. "Sometimes you have to be told it’s time to go, others times, such as in my case, you just know the time is right."

The five-time NBA all-star's new podcast is called Fearless or Insane With Chris Webber. The weekly show will be about sports and athletes, and their impact on culture, politics, and society.
Neumann To The Beach
iHeartMedia announced Tuesday that Bob Neumann has been named Senior VP for its Savannah/Hilton Head Market. Neumann previously worked as the PD for several stations in markets including KHMX-FM Houston, WSJT-FM Tampa, and WRMF-FM in West Palm Beach.

This announcement comes from Radio One CEO Alfred Liggins, who says Mark Charnock has been hired as the new Chief Digital Officer for Reach Media and the Local Radio One Group.
Lamke Picks Up Minnesota FM
This will be the third station for Jim Lamke's Lamke Broadcasting in Minnesota. He also owns two stations in Grand Rapids. He's now picking up KBAJ-FM in Deer River from Red Rock Radio. KALIL & Company was the exclusive broker on the deal.
The Fox Reaps A Harvest For The Hungry
Classic Rocker 99.7 The Fox (Charlotte) and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, which serves 19 counties in North and South Carolina, together raised approximately $13,000 and 5,200 pounds of non-perishable food during the 15th annual Harvest Feast Marathon to help fight hunger in the Charlotte region.
New Show For SB Nation Radio
The show, called In The Post, will feature NBA Hall of Famer Elvin Hayes. Analyst Revises 2017 Advertising Outlook
Brian Wieser, Senior Media Analyst From Pivotal Research Group, is downgrading his projections for 2017. He says there will be tough 2016 comps as the year turned out to be much better than expected. Wiser told investors, “We are revising our 2017 forecast to a +2.0% growth rate for the year ahead." His original forecast was an increase of 2.8%. Wieser says 2016 grew 5%, the ad industry’s best year since 2005.
