The Academy of Country Music has announced the full list of Radio Awards nominees for the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards. Radio Award nominees will not be televised due to time constraints in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2. The awards will be presented during an ACM Party for a Cause event at The Joint on Saturday, April 1 in Vegas. Here are the nominees...

The creators of the popular podcast Serial have announced the formation of podcast production company Serial Productions. The first podcast to launch will be S-Town, a nonfiction series set in rural Alabama and hosted by This American Life producer Brian Reed. All episodes of S-Town will be released in March.

The lineup includes Zac Brown Band, Lady Antebellum, Trace Adkins, Crystal Gayle, LOCASH, Cam, Michael Ray, Chris Lane, Carly Pearce, and Dailey & Vincent. The show will be held on Feb. 22, starting 7 p.m.

Sports station WCLY-AM in Raleigh will also be heard on 95.7 and rebranded "95.7 The Ticket." Capitol GM of Sports Radio Brian Maloney said, “We're in the business of providing sports content to our listeners and we deliver the content on numerous platforms. The addition of The Ticket on 95.7 FM fits perfectly with our other FM sports talk properties and digital initiatives."

Cody Welling is the new VP/Market Manager for Cumulus' five radio stations in Shreveport/Bossier City, LA. Welling gets promoted from the D.O.S. position he held with Cumulus in Toledo, where he was responsible for sales for eight stations.

Cumulus has named Brian Joyce Afternoon Host (3-6 p.m.) on NewsRadio 106.7/WYAY-FM in Atlanta. He'll turn his thoughts to Atlanta immediately following his midday show (1-3 p.m.) on Cumulus' Talk Radio 102.3/WGOW-FM in Chattanooga.

As part of its strategy to deliver an enhanced visual hybrid radio station experience beyond the smartphone, TagStation is increasing focused efforts on the connected car. The company has hired Derek Rohloff as VP Automotive Business Development to spearhead inclusion in the dashboard.

Sean Strife will begin programming the Cedar Rapids Hit Music station immediately. Strife has worked as the producer for KIIS FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest in L.A., he's produced the Jesse Lozano in the Morning show and was an on-air personality for iHeartMedia Los Angeles’ Sports Talker AM 570 LA Sports.

Premiere announced on Wednesday that former CIA officer turned radio and TV personality Buck Sexton will start hosting America Now starting Monday. The show is heard from 6 - 9 p.m. ET on more than 100 affiliates. Sexton replaces Meghan McCain, who is leaving Premiere to focus on her expanded role at Fox News.
