Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Dave Ramsey hosted his Smart Conference to a packed crowd in Atlanta Saturday night. His event was held at the North Point Community Church.

CEO Jeff Smulyan has offered Emmis shareholders $4.10 per share in his third attempt to take the company private. He's now given the committee the company has put together to consider that offer a third extension, until this Friday. Last week during Emmis' quarterly earnings Smulyan said the discussions have been productive and they are making "good progress."

The Country music superstar from Australia told The Boot how much it still means to him to hear his music being played on the radio. “The first time I got to hear myself on the radio here was mind-blowing. It still feels surreal, after this many years, getting to hear my music on the radio. The fact that it’s happened 20 times is, I never imagined that would happen, nor could it.” Urban has had 20 number one songs since 2000.

He calls himself DJ Bonics and he has an impressive resume of live performances, having played stages such as Coachella, Bonnaroo, Made in America, and the UK Wireless Festival, as well as TV appearances on David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien, The Ellen Show, Saturday Night Live, the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, BET, MTV, and ESPN SportsCenter.

CBS Radio has priced senior notes and a term loan as part of the $1.46 billion in debt it expects in connection with its spinoff from CBS Corp: It will offer $400 million in aggregate principal amount of 7.25 percent senior unsecured notes due 2024. Additionally, CBS Radio has set pricing for a $1.06 billion senior secured term loan B facility maturing in 2023 at an interest rate of LIBOR plus 3.5%, with a LIBOR floor of 1 percent. CBS expects that "substantially all" of the proceeds will be distributed to CBS itself, while the rest goes to CBS Radio for "general corporate purposes and ongoing cash needs."
