Dick Broadcasting Buys Three Alpha Markets

Dick Broadcasting is expanding its footprint from two stations in Greensboro-Winston-Salem, NC, to 20 stations across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The Alpha markets Dick Broadcasting is picking up are: Greenville/New-Bern, Myrtle Beach and Savannah/Hilton Head. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Thomas Signs Contract Renewal With CBS Radio

He will continue in his multi-platform role as Vice President of Sports Programming for CBS Radio and Vice President of Programming for CBS Radio Boston. Thomas has nearly 20 years of top management experience as a radio program director.

iHeartMedia New Orleans has debuted 104.1 The Spot, “We Play Anything.” The station will broadcast top hits from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s, including songs from artists like Madonna, Boston, Bon Jovi, and Duran Duran. The station celebrated Labor Day Weekend with three and a half days of commercial-free music.
