Bones will emcee the 73rd Annual Congressional Correspondents Dinner on October 25 at the National Building Museum. He will be joined by House Speaker Paul Ryan, who will deliver the keynote remarks, and headline entertainer Roy Wood Jr. 

On Thursday night, Charles Osgood was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the News and Documentary Emmys at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall. Several long standing ovations ensued at the packed event.

The fourth annual mega-concert will celebrate the best in Latin music with performances by Nacho, Gente De Zona, Don Omar, CNCO, Reik, Jesse y Joy, and Camila Cabello, with more artists to follow. KXXF Free FM (Beaumont, TX) has added veteran radio programmer and on-air talent Gary Lee Love to its roster. Love will work the afternoon drive shift, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. He has been on the air for 50 years and was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2016.

Karen Wishart began her employment with Urban One as an Executive VP on October 2. She'll be taking over for Linda Vilardo as Chief Administrative Officer after Vilardo's final day on the job, which is December 31. The two will work together during the transition. According to an SEC filing, when Wishart takes over she'll be paid a base salary of $425,000 with an opportunity to make up to $150,000 in bonuses.

Patrick Knight has won his Music Director stripes at Bonneville Country station 98.5 KYGO/Denver. He said: "To be named Music Director at a legendary station like 98.5 KYGO is truly an amazing honor and a privilege. I've been blessed to learn from and be around some of the best in the business."

The host of Spencer’s Neighborhood has signed a new mulit-year contract with St. Louis’ 106.5 The Arch. Graves came to St. Louis and The Arch in October 2015, from the legendary WSTW in Wilmington, Delaware. Spencer’s Neighborhood includes co-hosts Cassiday Proctor and Brandon “Brando” Luttman.
