Danielson Named PD At The Bull In Vegas
Wayne “Big D” Danielson has been named Program Director for 95.5 The Bull, “Las Vegas’ NEW Country Leader.” Danielson will work closely with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the station brand’s on-air and digital programming, as well as local events and partnerships.
Althoff Ready To Swim With The Shark
William “Will” Althoff has been named afternoon drive host and Music Director for 104.3 The Shark (WSFS-FM), “South Florida’s Alternative.” The new show will air weekdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Althoff takes over the afternoon drive from Zach McHugh.
Cox Names Clarke To New VP Role
Cox Media Group has named Tim Clarke to the newly created role of VP of Audience and Content. He will set the overarching content strategy for radio. CMG’s VP of Programming, Steve Smith, will continue to oversee CMG format leaders and work directly on radio programming.

KBEAR Warms Hearts In Frigid Alaska
KBEAR 104.1 raised $83,201 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, January 25-26. KBEAR, along with Continental Auto Group, the 176th Wing Alaska Air National Guard, and numerous community volunteers hosted Country Cares for St. Jude Kids Radiothon.
James Lee Brewer II Of Brewer Media Passes
James Lee (Jim) Brewer II passed away in Chattanooga on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018, after battling oral cancer. He was 56. Brewer began his radio career in high school in programming. At 28, he became the GM for WJTT FM — Power 94.

NRG Doles Out Promotions For Luchs and Fielder
Kurt Luchs has assumed the position of GM of NRG Media’s seven-station Omaha cluster, after leading the company's four-station Wausau-Stevens Point, WI, group for nearly five years. At the same time, Aleese Fielder, who has been D.O.S. at the Wausau cluster, now becomes GM.
