WTPT-FM 93.3 The Planet’s top-rated morning show The Rise Guys, are hosting the largest mass wedding in the Upstate Wednesday, February 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Rocky River Plantation in Williamston, SC. The event is called “Numerous Nuptials."

The New York Times’s audio news report, The Daily, will soon extend its current following of 4.5 million monthly unique listeners to the national radio audience. Beginning in April 2018, American Public Media will distribute a radio edition of the popular daily podcast to public radio listeners across the country.

Newly created Border Media, owned by Ricki Lee and Hanna Kaleta have purchased WRGR-FM in Tupper Lake, NY, from Radio Lake Placid for $8,000. Lee said, "My wife and I are really excited to announce this acquisition. After numerous visits to the Adirondacks, we’ve simply fallen in love with the area and we’ve been exploring radio ownership for some time."
