He also said, "I missed doing the show, I admit it." Francesa said he wasn't going to go through everything that went on because "some of it is none of your business."

According to the 2018 RTNDA/Hofstra Newsroom Survey, small market news directors are making $30,000 per year. In medium markets, they are making $35,000. In large markets the salary jumps to $53,000. And in major markets, the median salary for a news director is $82,500.

Entercom has launched sports content on KGMZ-AM in San Francisco. The station will simulcast content from sister station 95.7-FM 'THE GAME'. The station had been under an LMA, programming Radio Zindagi, an entertainment and information format targeting the 280,000 South Asians in the Bay Area.

iHeartMedia Chicago's BIG 95.5 presented Jason Aldean, Back to the Bar with three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year" Jason Aldean, at Joe's on Weed St. on Sunday, April 29. The event raised over $32,000 with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen for Breast Cancer research.

Scott Porretti has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Digital for Katz Media Group. In the newly created position, Porretti, who currently oversees the company’s digital audio sales across the country, will now also oversee digital video sales operations nationwide.

iHeartMedia has launched a news podcast called The Daily Dive – a 15-minute podcast that posts each weekday at 6 a.m. ET. The Daily Dive is hosted by iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles-based producer, writer, and editor, Oscar Ramirez.
