Local Media San Diego has re-signed XHTZ and XHRM Program Director and afternoon personality R Dub! to a new, multi-year deal. R Dub! joined the stations in April of 2011.
Maxx Joins ReelWorld Affiliate Relations Team
Seattle-based ReelWorld has added Charlie Maxx to the Prep+ affiliate relations team. Maxx’s radio resume includes stops in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Corpus Christi, and the Jersey Shore.
iHeartMedia Revenue Declines 1.7% In Q1
The company officially filed its financials with the SEC Tuesday after an announcement last week that they'd be coming. Revenue from iHeart's radio division was $744.6 million, down 1.7% from 2017, which was $757.1 million. Excluding political, the radio division was down 2% for the quarter, $739.1 million, compared to $754.6 million in 2017.
Salem Selling Omaha FM
Salem Media Group announced on Tuesday that it is selling Christian Contemporary Music Station KGBI, 100.7 FM, in Omaha to the University of Northwestern-St. Paul. Financial details of the deal were not released.
International Radio Awards Finalists Named
The New York Festivals International Radio Program Awards 2018 finalists have been announced. NYF’s Grand Jury selected 353 finalists from entries submitted from 31 countries worldwide. Winners will be announced on June 18 at the annual awards ceremony at Manhattan Penthouse in New York City.

Mark Glynn has been named Senior VP of Sales for iHeartMedia's eight-station Seattle cluster. Glynn comes to iHeart from TTWN, KBKS, and KUBE in Seattle where he was Vice President of Sales. He began his radio career at iHeartMedia Minneapolis.

Russell Robertson has been named Senior VP of Sales for iHeart's 10-station Tampa Bay cluster. Russell moves to Tampa from iHeart Seattle, where he was Senior VP for Sales. He also served as GSM for KOZ, KGB, KLSD, and Chargers Radio Broadcast for iHeartMedia San Diego.
