Bruce Mittman and Jim Leven are partners in Community Broadcasters. They met in 1986, when Mittman was visiting a station where Leven was working as the manager. Mittman eventually purchased that station in 1986 and the two have been friends ever since. Their radio careers wound around and back together again.

Another Job Lost Over Bad Behavior

Jack Lessenberry was Michigan Radio’s senior political analyst. That is until he resigned this week after being accused of sexual harassment. According to the Michigan Radio website the resignation comes as more and more women accuse Lessenberry of sexual harassment and other questionable behavior.

Chief Operating Officer Warren Lada will retire from Saga Communications at the end of June. CEO Ed Christian said, "Warren has been an integral part of Saga for the past 27 years and we will deeply miss his contributions to Saga and its radio stations across the U.S."

Young Out In Pittsburgh

Entercom has confirmed Michael Young (pictured) is no longer running its Pittsburgh cluster. Entercom picked up four CBS Radio stations when the two companies merged. Young was the Market Manager for CBS Radio and he was retained by Entercom until this week.

Sweet Promotion For Redberg

iHeartMedia Minneapolis has promoted Michelle Redberg to VP of Sales for the nine-station cluster. iHeart Minneapolis also has partnerships with the Minnesota Vikings, the Minnesota Wild, and University of Minnesota Golden Gophers Sports. Redberg joined iHeart in 2016 as a Senior AE and has 14 years of media experience in broadcast and cable television.
