AMP In L.A. Goes To Weatherly

Kevin Weatherly will take over programming duties at Entercom's 97.1 AMP Radio (KAMP-FM). Weatherly will continue in his role as Program Director for KROQ (KROQ-FM) and 93.1 JACK FM (KCBS-FM). Entercom also announced that Chris Ebbott is the new Operations Manager for Radio.com in Los Angeles. Ebbott programs K-EARTH 101 (KRTH-FM) in L.A.

Global Ad Spending Looking Strong

Dentsu Aegis Network has upgraded its ad-spending forecast for 2018 to 3.9% -- up from 3.6% in its January projection. Total ad spend around the world is expected to come in at $615 Billion. Dentsu predicts radio will be up 2%. In January the radio projection was 1.3%. The 2019 radio projection is plus 1.2%.
