Doug Hall has been named Digital Program Director for iHeart San Francisco, effective July 9. The company has six stations in the market and generates 30 podcasts locally with nearly 100 episodes each week published. Hall will report to Don Parker, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia San Francisco.

Survey: Diversity In Radio’s Newsroom Drops
The latest RTDNA/Hofstra University Annual Survey finds the percentage of people of color in local radio news slipping to 11.3%, down 0.4 from a year ago. The random sample of 3,542 radio stations, with 415 valid responses, from news directors and GMs, also showed that the percentage of radio general managers of color rose 1.7% from a year ago.
