Longtime Cleveland radio host John Lanigan quit right in the middle of his WTAM show on Wednesday. Lanigan said he just didn't feel right doing radio anymore, thanked a few people, and went on his merry way. News 5 in Cleveland reported that WTAM PD Ray Davis was caught completely off guard and had to come in and finish the show.

Rooster Teeth’s podcast network, The Roost, has added The Last Podcast on the Left to its roster. Since its launch one year ago, The Roost now has over a million weekly downloads. The Last Podcast on the Left is one of the most popular podcasts in the country.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and NFL Network analyst will join Kevin Harlan in the Westwood One Sports NFL broadcast booth as the new lead color analyst for Monday Night Football and the Super Bowl.

Former Philadelphia 76ers star Charles Barkley joined Mike Missanelli, Natalie Egenolf, and Tyrone Johnson on Beasley Media Group’s 97.5 The Fanatic (WPEN-FM), Thursday. Barkley co-hosted all four hours of the show and talked Philadelphia sports and current events. Barkely appears on the show every year and the station receives great feedback from listeners.

Former San Francisco 49ers defensive end and Super Bowl champion Dennis Brown is the new co-host of KNBR 680/1050’s pregame and postgame coverage for the 2018 NFL season. Brown was part of the 49ers' Super Bowl-winning team in 1995. He served as 49ers television analyst from 2012-2017.

The Daily Post in Palo Alto is reporting that former late-night KGO host Bill Wattenburg has died from cancer at the age of 82. Wattenburg was also a former nuclear weapons designer who would answer a wide range of listener questions, from car repairs to helping kids with their homework. He was on the air at KGO for nearly 40 years.
