The New York Post is reporting that the five private equity owners of Univision are bracing for a 2019 revenue decline of 4 percent for the Spanish language broadcaster. The paper also says the five PE firms - Madison Dearborn Partners, Providence Equity Partners, TPG Capital, THL Partners and Haim Saban — may also be looking to generate cash by selling assets.

The RAB has hired Georgia Beasley (pictured) as its new Professional Development Manager. In addition, Kim Johnson was promoted to the Director of Sales position of the Professional Development team.

A few days after Bubba The Love Sponge settled his ratings tampering case with Nielsen, the syndicated morning host lost another affiliate. Bubba had been airing on 96 K-ROCK (WXRK) in Fort Myers for 10 years. He's off the station as of this week. K-ROCK is now playing music in the morning and will announce a new show next week.

Boss Life Construction, IJustGotHit.com, and Radio One Houston are teaming up to give members of the Houston community a chance to win a previously existing renovated home. The contest is open to previous homeowners in Houston who lost a home last year in Hurricane Harvey. 

Michael Kay, host of The Michael Kay Show on ESPN 98.7FM New York, will be inducted into the New York State Broadcasters Association’s Hall of Fame for 2018. Kay is also the voice of the New York Yankees and host of CenterStage for the YES network.

Real 92.3’s (KRRL/Los Angeles) nationally-syndicated radio show Big Boy’s Neighborhood will be televised weekdays on FM (Fuse Music). Episodes air the same day as the radio broadcast, beginning Monday, July 30.

Los Angeles Alternative station ALT 98.7 has a new midday host: Tamo Sein. Beginning July 16, Sein will broadcast weekdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. PT, following The Woody Show.

101.5 The Beat and Y100.1 have named Eliseo “Short-E” Cierra Program Director. Listeners will also hear Short-E on-air weekdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on The Beat.

Tropikana is the new Music Director for 101.1 WIZF/Cincinnati. She has worked in markets in Oklahoma, Louisiana, Georgia, Missouri, and now returns to Ohio to program The Wiz.
