EMF Enters Panama City
Kalil & Company announced the latest purchase for Educational Media Foundation. WPFM-FM (107.) in Panama City is being sold to EMF by Powell Broadcasting. The Powell Group owns stations in Panama City and Sioux City, Iowa. How much EMF is paying for its latest signal was not announced.

Beasley Moves Fisher to Nevada
Starting Monday Kris Fisher is the Brand Manager for Beasley Media Group's Rhythmic Oldies "Old School 105.7"/KOAS-FM and Hot AC “STAR 107.9”/KVGS-FM. Fisher moves to Vegas from Beasley's HD98.3 and Hot 95.5 /93.1 in Augusta where he was PD.
Peck Gets Evenings At WLS In Chicago
Chicago radio broadcast veteran Brian Peck has been named on-air host of evenings on 94.7 WLS. Peck debuts in the 7:00 p.m.-12:00 midnight slot tonight.

Boise Legend Calling It A Day
After over 51 years of media and radio broadcasting, Paul J Schneider has decided it is time to retire from NewsTalk 670 KBOI/Boise, ID. Schneider moved to Boise and started his career at KBOI in June of 1967.
WLAC/Nashville Adds FM Signal
Nashville’s TalkRadio 1510 WLAC will now simulcast on 98.3 FM. The 98.3 FM signal will broadcast across the southern portions of the Nashville area, including Williamson County and the Franklin area. WLAC will also now be heard on WSIX-FM on HD-2 and continue to broadcast on 1510 AM.
iHeart Gets Important Approval From Bankruptcy Court
A Texas bankruptcy judge issued an order Thursday approving the disclosures and solicitation materials for iHeartMedia's Chapter 11 plan. With this latest approval iHeartMedia is now closer to restructuring $16 billion in debt and emerging from bankruptcy a stronger company.
Radio’s “Shout Out” Has Been Reinvented
Slacker Radio debuted Shoudout, a new content monetization and social platform, on Slacker's Pop Remix channel. Slacker says Shoudout was inspired by the old radio "shout outs."
