iHeartMedia Denver has named John Kage PD for Hits station 95.7 The Party. Kage joins KPTT-FM from Bonneville's Country station KYGO-FM in Denver, where he was also PD. Kage was recently named one of Radio Ink's Top Country programmers for his work at KYGO.

SiriusXM's coverage of Super Bowl LIII, February 3 in Atlanta, will include 10 different live game broadcasts in eight languages.

The NAB will present the Spirit of Broadcasting Award to veteran radio industry reporter Tom Taylor during the 2019 NAB Show in Las Vegas. Taylor will accept the award on Monday, April 8, at the NAB Show Opening.

Broadcast veteran Clyde Smith will receive the award at the NABA Annual General Meeting on February 5 at NBCUniversal in New York.

Ryan Lieberman is the new Market President and Chief Revenue Officer for Townsquare's Tri-Cities, WA cluster. Lieberman is a former GSM for CBS Radio and Emmis in Los Angeles.

The former American Radio Systems CEO died January 17 in a biking accident in Bonita Springs, FL. Services will be held 2pm February 2 at St John's Episcopal Church in Beverly Farms, MA. In lieu of giving flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Cabot.

The KOMP-FM website states that Brittney Cason passed away unexpectedly last week. No details about how she died were available. Cason had for years hosted KOMP’s “B.S. In the Morning” show, and had also previously worked for CBS Sports radio. She was 37.
