Amanda “Lil Brownie” Pizana has been named the new co-host of the Big Mama & the Wild Bunch morning show on WXKB/Ft. Myers, FL. Pizana most recently spent the past four years serving as the nighttime personality at KLIF-FM in her hometown of Dallas.
Big League Pitcher Joins SiriusXM
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer has joined SiriusXM to host his own talk show – Bauer Hour – which will debut October 8 and air exclusively on SiriusXM’s MLB Network Radio channel.
SiriusXM, Cohen Extend Agreement
SiriusXM has signed a three-year contract extension with producer, and television and radio host Andy Cohen. Cohen, the creator and content curator of SiriusXM's Radio Andy (channel 102), will continue to host his show Andy Cohen Live, through 2022.
Urban One, DAX Sign Streaming Audio Agreement
Digital audio advertising company DAX and Urban One have entered into a long-term partnership. DAX will be Urban One's exclusive sales representative across general market network radio streaming and programmatic streaming advertisements under the agreement.
Host, Wife Lose Quadruplets
WGR- Buffalo sports talker Jeremy White and his wife Molly have lost their quadruplets after they were born prematurely. White made the announcement on his Twitter page.
Roddy Returns To Entercom
Entercom has named Scott Roddy as PD and Operations Manager for 99.5 The Wolf (KWJJ-FM) and 105.1 The Buzz (KRSK-FM) in Portland. Roddy previously served as a Program Director for Entercom from 2009 to 2013.
Michaels Gets His PD Stripes
Jay Michaels, Operations Manager, Cumulus Shreveport, LA, has been named Program Director for Country station KRMD-FM. Michaels was named Operations Manager for Cumulus’ five-station group in Shreveport in July.
Former Alpha Host Sentenced To Probation
Mathew Rydberg, who was known as Matt McKay on Alpha’s KFRX-FM in Lincoln, was charged with domestic assault back in April. He was fired by Alpha in May, took a plea deal in July and was sentenced to two years probation this week.
Elvis Duran Releases Memoir
He’s one of radio’s most popular and colorful personalities, so a memoir seems pretty appropriate. The Premiere Networks-syndicated personality’s memoir is entitled, Elvis Duran: Where Do I Begin? Stories (I Sort of Remember) From a Life Lived Out Loud.
