First they were quarantined together, now they will be quarantined apart. Carl and Jeri Goldman, owners of KHTS AM & FM in Santa Clarita, CA, are still dealing with their coronavirus nightmare after being onboard the Diamond Princess during a 16-day cruise through Southeast Asia.
Carl has been keeping his community updated by posting his story to the station website. He is now quarantined in the biocontainment unit at the University of Nebraska hospital. Jeri and Carl are separated. She’s quarantined, along with four other passengers, in a separate wing of the hospital.
They finally got off the boat on Monday. Carl has the virus. Jeri does not. There were reports that Carl was in critical condition. He is not, and he explains the entire situation in part seven of his update.
