Benztown, has released its seventh annual Benztown 50 List of Radio’s Biggest Imaging Voices in the U.S. and Canada. Randy Thomas (pictured here) was honored with the Iconic Voice Award. See the full Benztown list HERE.
Nielsen: March Was Good For Radio
According to the ratings firm, the March PPM survey showed that radio experienced " significant gains" in listening, an 8% increase month-over-month in total AQH audience. Nielsen reports the increase was the largest single-month increase in average audience since last June.
iHeart Fires Host Over Tweet

Urban One Promotes Wayne Jones
Wayne Jones is now D.O.S. for the Urban One Houston radio group, moving up from LSM. Jones has held management positions in Austin, Baton Rouge and D.C. He made Radio Ink's Future African American Leaders list in 2015 and 2017 and is a 2017 Radio Wayne award winner.
