Changes at Audacy’s BetQL
Audacy's EVP of Programming Jeff Sottolano announced on Monday that Matt Volk will be leaving Audacy at the end of this year. Sottolano hired Volk two years ago to oversee the build out of Audacy's BetQL Network. Volk is returning Boston where he's taken a job in sports Television.
WIRK Raises Over $11,000 for Food Bank
Hubbard's West Palm Beach country station WIRK (103.1 FM) raised more than $11,000 for a local food bank during a three-day charity broadcast. The donations are the equivalent of over 55,000 meals for the food bank.
Indeed Most-Run Spot for Third Week
Employment services provider Indeed continued to hold its rank as the most-run spot on stations coast-to-coast for the third consecutive week in a row, with a slight increase in spots run compared to the prior week; Progressive moved to second.
WDVD to Run Christmas Bash Concert in December
Cumulus Media's Detroit-based Hot AC station WDVD (96.3 FM) will present Blaine and Laurie's Christmas Bash on Thursday, December 15. The acoustic concert will feature performances by American Authors, the Band Camino and Colbie Caillat.
