Nielsen Revenue Up 2.4% in Q2
Revenue for the quarter was $1.6 billion, however net income decreased 1.7% to $114 million. The company says that was mainly due to the impact of foreign exchange. Net income increased 3.6% on a constant currency basis. Audio revenues grew 1.7% on a reported and constant currency basis.
Will Entercom Produce Another Great Quarter?
On May 2, Entercom CEO David Field announced, "It was a terrific quarter," when he reported first quarter earnings to investors and analysts. Same-station Q1 revenue increased 6% over 2015 as the company turned in its 4th consecutive quarter of growth.

Who Will Win A 2016 Marconi?

ESPN-Portland & The FAN Do College Football Deal
The two stations (KMTT and KFXX respectively) have agreed to a multi-year affiliation agreement with the Washington State-IMG Sports Network. Cougar game-day broadcasts will now be broadcast on 910 ESPN-Portland for that city, with select games also airing on 1080 The Fan.
