In his latest blog, Amplifi Media CEO Steve Goldstein lays out what he sees as some of the biggest news from Podcast Movement in Philadelphia last week. He says there were all sorts of valuable numbers and statistics flying around the show. Here are a just a few that caught his attention....

The E.W. Scripps Company has reached an agreement to sell its two radio stations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Good Karma Brands for $16 million. Wisconsin-based Good Karma Brands is purchasing WTMJ (620 AM and 103.3 FM) and WKTI (94.5 FM). The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter.

The Missouri Broadcasters Association, with additional support from eight broadcast groups, are opening this year’s Radio Talent Institute at Northwest Missouri State University, Monday. Young talent from 11 different universities will converge on the campus.
